Limits
     They

               like raindrops in June

Fat wet round
     Splattering on the sidewalk
Causing the most amazing sizzling sound

He was like that
Hot and wet and vibrant, full of life
As he'd lift me, carry me, toss me on the bed
And spread my thighs to dive inside

     I was not shy
He wouldn't let me be even if I tried
               And so thighs stayed spread
As my head balanced desire with humility
                         Humility always lost

          I would whimper and beg
               Plead and purr
                    Wanton and wild
Sounding so foreign to my own ears

Sleeping in his arms was always a pleasant finish
And in the morning watching him dress
As I languished naked beneath the sheets
Then my whisper "When will I see you?"
His reply always the same words….
                         "We'll see."

Then he was gone until the next time.
And that infinite sense of loss would begin.

I had no idea

where you were going at the beginning of this poem.

I loved where you took me.

it's direct and erotic and touching..and the end is filled with such sadness and longing.

All done in very simple but wonderful language.

Very nice work
