You touched me at a time when my feelings were raw.
You pryed your crow bar into the jamb of a hard slammed door.

You levered your way to get an opening for you.
You pushed and pushed with the intention to get through.

You pushed me, and coxed me to open wide, my self.
Plagued me, tormented me, sort compassion for your bad health.

Gradually it happened as you played your twisted little game.
Through inviting teases and tickles, your side made the gain.

You called at unearthly hours, declaring feels long forgot.
Pulled out the surviving parts, from my feelings riddled with rot.

Opened the door wider, to let passion slip through.
Brought out sensitivity, compassion, love, as though something new.

Wheedled your way deeply, into my tightly closed being.
Brought out desire, and trust – a long time since seeing.

Opened me fully and played tenderly with my heart.
Crept slowly, assured, confidently into every part.

Then betrayed me so quickly by not stepping through my door.
I was opened and exposed, naked for the world to explore.

For prying eyes to analyse and question, the intricacies of me.
Exposed and abandoned for my family to see.

Never stepping forward, to my hand that begged for you.
Standing, laughing, and pointing, you brought others to view.

Ensuring in my future, as I close my door, one last time, finally.
That I’ll cocoon myself, never open, but closed, and live, just with me.

Raw

Some real raw emotions here. Was she the same one? Hope you weren't done over by the same one but if so...take heart, we're not all like that.

~~

A rather hard cynical piece of love's betrayal.
