Mouth on mouth-
that hot meeting
of hungry tongues-
snatching kisses.

Stolen moments
abstract, unconnected.
Where are the lines
to pull us together?

Those moments of lust.
Too brief and too rare.
Working under disguise
we meet for mindless moments.

Metal counter at my back.
Your heavy body warm.
Holding, being held
I want so much more.

Warm teasing talk and
sharing secret smiles.
Always aware of you
I ache bitter sweet.

Our paths so seperate.
Our double lives so full.
Is this all we will have?
This sweet, fumbling lust?

I want you so bad.
And yet I know so little.
My body knows much more.
We meet only in tiny time/space.

This poem covers the same subject as The Jacket...smiles demure. So yeah, I got the guy.

Wonderful

I love this poem. It speaks of the love many of us have for that someone special.

How very important it is to grasp every available fleeting moment. I believe there's always time for the things that matter most.
