A little Jack and Coke,
big eyes heavy-lidded,
nod Evening to blues
and smoke steel rings.
Twang. Summertime
holds languid breath,
fall levitates
three stories up,
reverberates,
ghosts past the loft.
Nighttime.

Say Amen somebody.

Tell Plato we dance
like cavemen stompin
silly Ally Oop struts
and Virginia reels,
guitars sweat shadows.
Amante it just feels
like right times.

Laugh. Hook legs again,
mi amor, digame, again,
moonlit skin azul.
Limbs steel-chorded,
digame again, eyes locked
in rhythm out there sí,
Amen, but always swinging.

Lock hips. Laugh.
Curl kisses. Lips twang,
rise, notes fall,
respire a bebé,
breathe.

A new

twist.

I sense The Senora has broken out her record collection.

Or perhaps taken her Amante to New Orleans.

You have no idea how wrapped up I am in the series.

: )

Each one is a treasure to me

Thank you
