sparks flying
blinding with their light
no love at first sight
but a lust stronger
than human might
fiery touch,
then all is still
man binds woman
to his will
love is pure
but lust can kill
touching, tasting
he's just a stranger
yelling louder
than an airborne ranger
my heart knows
that it's in danger
lying together
hearts beat slow
all is silent
but worries flow
can love from lust
somehow grow?

Angelineabout 20 years agothe raw emotion really comes across here--the comparisaon of the lovers quietly laying next to each other and the poet's sort of frantic worry is really heartfelt. And I'll tell you my opinion on your question--no, almost never. It all has to grow together, so keep your ticker strong.
