Nourishes me

Metaphor
Guess I'm feeling kind of lost after last night....
Just alone...nobody to talk to
I was up till 4 with you
Silly man...she calls to be heard above the din.
I'm craving the honeyed lexis,
Dripping from the orifice of nocturnal sigh
Thought you might rock my cradled vessel
Dropping anchor and walking
To the bunk to be with you
I would make you a great neighbor
You are here in both places here and there
Your face in my hands
My finger tracing the lips of your smile
The warmth of your breath on my skin
Your fingers closing my eyes
As you slip something into my mouth
Trusting you i breathe into the surprise
As you slowly pull back the cool
Morning sleep from my warm body
Landing like a baby bird back to nest
My words feed your heart
 Your smile nourishes me
To awake before dawn and watch you
Come to life would cause my heart to overflow
