Charging horses, frothing flanks,
      Cool streams with un-turned banks.

Blaring oxen argue with iron and dirt,
Quiet passages in an Elizabethan church.

Shouting buzzards pick at fresh kill,
The curves of a gently sloping hill.

Slamming gates over grating stone cages.
The bowing of a roof over the ages.

Twisted insane men with drool on their knives,
These were the images painting their lives.
