Dark clouds pass over
as vermin retreat to
crevices, perhaps
omen of things to come?

Cold air sweeps
through town in mid summer
warning all to steer clear.
Take refuge.

On streets old newspapers fly
like the graffiti of the underworld.
Where they are blowing to
only the Wind knows.

A shreaking howl
on moonless night
beckons with certainty the arrival
of something dark.

Whispers on walls
reverberate through the air
though mothers hush children wrapped close to the heart.
"Something evil this way comes."

What a great trip.

The visuals that you layed down were excellent. The walk was great.
