The fear overcomes my heart at times
as I push away from Your love and tenderness
My heart grows heavy as I run from Your security
In come Your wings to gently pull me back

The trust of my heart aches to fully be with You
Most times it is a stable trust for You
Until the past hurts flood in to drown me
In come Your wings to gently save me

The aura of happiness flourishes in Your presence
Yet it dims when we're apart
The light You fill me with flickers with my insecurity
In come Your wings to gently caress me with Your love

The yearning of my soul cries out for You
As each day I become more Yours
Your guidance and strength draw up my submission
In come Your wings to gently dominate my soul
