With a kiss I forsake

all the longing in the dream I had

for I am glad

we are of the night

tucked away from the garish light

how truly blessed we are

to be this far

removed from the hypocrisy

hypothecacy*

of the world above

nothing to nobody we owe

it is so

we were born of the dark

we will return to that stark

why

not live as we were born and will die...
