On that day the planes were hijacked,
on that day that we were attacked,
on that day terrorists declared war on the USA.
As a nation we were silenced
by the destruction and the violence
and sought answers to why we ended up this way.

And then began the investigations
for finding threats from other nations;
and, just who harbored hatred for the USA.
And rose again the name bin Laden,
a threat the government had "forgotten",
his threats had been disregarded in a careless way.

Bush and Blair visited UN security
with a learned secret that was dirty;
top secret information from British intelligence to the CIA.
There were weapons of mass destruction
of harmful biological and chemical function,
deployable 45 minutes from when ordered, is what the spies did say.

So they declared a war war on terror,
many say it was in error,
for there was much public dissention in the US and UK.
In spite of their partys'opposition,
and lack of UN mandate and resolution,
they declared war unless Iraq open to inspectors right away.

In the meantime in Afghanistan,
US and British troops toppled the Taliban,
which should be seen as a war victory still to this day.
They also disbanned the Al-Qaeda
as they located where they hide-a
and captured members for interrogations about where Bin Laden stays.

For a 6 months Saddam kept stalling,
UN inspectors, it was appalling.
But he had plenty of time to hide the WMDs away.
Either there or in nearby country
there may still be a bounty
of weapons for terrorist to use upon us as they may.

Iraq was given plenty of warning
about complying or end up warring
and Sadaam wouldn't listen to leaders of the US and UK.
And by stalling and refusing
inspector investigations and weapon viewing
Sadaam chose to let Iraq get blown away.

Once Hussein's kingdom had crumbled,
and his military tumbled,
strategic searches were performed by Special Forces and the Green Beret.
Then Bush and Blair were reprimanded
as troops came up empty-handed,
and they questioned Powell and Rumsfeld, and the CIA.

As the public became more skeptic,
and investigations became more hectic,
due to accusations about intelligence and the "oil-greedy" USA.
After suicides and resignations
and some faulty allegations
there has been quite a bit of chaos over the war to this day.

The insurgents and resistance
are heard when explosions in the distance
indicate another car or suicide bomb have taken more lives away.
Jihad was the declaration
by Muslim expansionists around the Iraqi nation,
on the Coalition and the allies of the US and UK.

Now I can understand
that they don't want us in their land,
and they'd be much happier if we'd just go away.
But it seems the world's forgetting
it was because of Sadaam's betting
and non-cooperation when the US bombed them that day.

And it seems the war on terror
is now a war on US internal error,
blaming US government officials for the Bin Laden attack that day.
It seems the world's believing
that the US was merely scheming
to disembody Muslim religion and steal Iraqi oil rights away.

Now I have trouble accepting
that the Bush administration was directing
the attack that devastated our nation that 9/11 day.
It seems more likely that Bin Laden
who it seems keeps being "forgotten"
perhaps predicted Bush's reaction, when he orchestrated his play.

Perhaps one should take pause
and consider Osama's cause,
and wonder just how planned his attack may have been that day.
For he may just have noticed
the Haliburton oil interest
and took advantage of a catalyst, that would prove and gain support for his way.

Maybe he knew Bush would react
by first investigating Iraq,
and perhaps that Sadaam had WMDs underway.
Stalling and exporting weapons,
exceeding deadlines with no exceptions,
a war would be begun, inevitable on that day.

And when soldiers turned up with empty hands
perhaps we'd played into Osama's hands
so he could say he'd been right all along the way.
We'd invaded just for oil
because America was spoiled
and jihad must be declared on the evil westerners right away.

What if Osama's scheme
for Muslim expansionist dreams
was carried out just like he planned that day.
And what if all this blaming,
fingerpointing, and mis-aiming,
is going exactly as planned the Bin Laden way.

Because now it seems the war on terror
is now a war on US internal error,
blaming US government officials for the Bin Laden attack that day.
It seems the world's believing
that the US was merely scheming
to disembody Muslim religion and steal Iraqi oil rights away.
