I saw you standing there last night and I was amazed.
How I was able to see you when I was lost in your gaze.
Your eyes penetrated my soul with such fiery heat.
How edible you were to me, from your head to your feet.
Oh yes my dear, I watched for quite awhile.
how your eyes sparkled as you laughed and smiled.
The way you walked across this crowded room as if no one was there.
how your shoulders were caressed by the length of your hair.
That dress you wore with such style and grace.
as it rose as you moved brought a smile to my smile.
dear lady, you know not what you do to me.
but once I get the courage, you will soon see.
that I am a man worth knowing, i am filled with such charm.
One day soon, I will hold you in my arms.
And then and only then, my motives i will reveal.
how on that last night, you made me feel.
a flush of fever, a touch fear.
but all that is behind me, now that you are here.
so now let us prepare for when our hearts take flight,
So then I can remember our journey on the last night.
