I know my role
I am the dancing partner
Not the music
I move with you
And react to you
But I don’t dictate
The pace or the style
Of the dance
Nor it’s duration

I am important
For just one song
Daring to dream
I will be worthy
Of the next selection
On the corner jukebox
Given more stolen moments
Allowed to buy you a drink

Just one more dime
In the jukebox
A fleeting favorite
I may never be
A permanent part
Of your record collection
We were together for a melody
Fading in the night
Still I dare to dream
Of one more dance

Harmonious

Made me feel like dancing to a beat I could only hear in my head. Brilliant man, simply brilliant.
