The night was black and blue
From the disappointing punch you threw
It wasn't a revelation
Or even defiant exaltation
It was crimson red
Unstained bed

Resolve drove me
Set me lustily roving
Dancing on the grimy floor
Touching men I'd never seen before
Accepting that invitation
For horizontal gyration
It was wetted minge
For revenge

The night was a dark torch song
Shadowing right and wrong
Impereceptible shades of gray
Fellating their way
Across the enemy lines of morality
The sex was just a formality
It was sickly sweet
Void of heat

My mind warned me
Your absence scorned me
As I lay on those stiff white sheets
In a disjointed, disappointed heap
Feeling gutted and rutted
And duly beslutted
It was a dull ache
Sad mistake

Because you won't ever know what I did
How I took on the role of El Cid
Conquering, only to be exiled
My body, but not my name, defiled
It was daftly done
No one won
