It gets so much more real,
too real at times
They or he becomes a need,
a want, not the way he was meant to be
You hide behind the fun and the games
It can't reach you
Can't tear you apart
Unless you let it..

Somewhat true...

But can you always control it? Aye...there's the rub, precious. But I feel the sentiment...the message...in my core. I where from you speak.

Much more to the story

The sheer power of this poem comes from what is not said. Hidden thoughts and desires left unchecked, but not entirely hidden. What is real? What is fanatasy? Both are required to ask when reading this poem. Very short and concise, but clearly stated. The underlying tones of true mystique. I love the feel of this poem and it's tone that you've given it. It speaks volumes without being needlessly wordy, unlike this comment. ;)
