Only
here as the heart
holds a house once alive,
now tenuous memory threads
lonely

in time
like a river,
receding from my shores,
but flowing to an unknown sea
sublime,

where peace,
joining these ghosts,
awaiting the sister,
a daughter lives with their quiet
increase.

You take my breath away ~

What can I say except I have so much to learn.

A step away from one place

brings you closer to the next. A bittersweet poem here, a mix of emotions well expressed in the form. Well done...

Ony the Loney

. . . or Angeline!

Wonderful words as most always.

I particularly like the opening Image.

Thank you.

there's

something about this that just conjures up the country for me.

I have NO idea why...just a fence and an open meadow..tall grass

It has beautiful images, and some great word play.

you can tell every word was fitted carefully

a very nice piece

than you
