Dear God,

Thank you for giving us the USA
the Indians had it but you took it away
then made it ours to own and play
all the oceans
and the rivers
and the star spangled sky
all the mountains
and forests
and deer running by
all the fields
all the desert
and the apple pie
today we eat a turkey feast, yes it’s true
but we won’t forget that we owe it all to you
