Slashed with glass in a bar
Gouged by stone from a fall
Stabbed by a thug
Burned after the explosion
The slow to fade imprint of the sting
The lingering evidence of the lashes
Scraped with asphalt
Ripped by razorwire from a fence
Bit by a dog
Battered after the fight
