Cutting corners cutting hours
cutting chunks out from your mind
don't forget the "after hours"
a drink is always there to pass the time
and when cash is such a problem
that the drugs and booze run dry
just be lazy and feel hazy
as you sleep and feel quite fine
forget the world and all the places
the people with their faces
the expectations to hold on to
all the wants that are around you
keep to times and spaces
where you know just where your place is
and you’ll always find that corner
where there is "just another high"
just start falling in the fast lane
to find your "corner in the sky"
