I sit knowing that I mustn't

I sit thinking that I can't

I sit wanting to so badly

With this great big pain inside.

Surely it wouldn't matter?

Surely no one would know?

For it would bring such sweet relief

To let the pain all flow.

Flow free from my veins

Far away from me

The relief would be immense

The pain inside would go.

But I won't, not again

Because I know it's wrong

But somebody answer me this?

Who else will take my pain?
