As the water flows down the steam,
I lay here in a state of dream,
eyes fixed upon the reeds,
swaying back n forth,
as if pointing towards the north,
my eyes then travel in a northerly direction,
following the clouds as they beckon,
my desire to follow is so great,
within my daydreams I am now opening the gate,
the gateway to paradise where all is so beautiful,
in the distance I see you,
sat upon a rock, looking out to sea,
then over towards me,
the smile on your face so plain to see,
the breeze flowing through my hair as I start to run,
climbing down your rock, to me you now come,
arms out stretched beckoning my embrace,
my heart starts beating at a faster pace,
together our bodies finally join,
embraced within each others arms,
the breeze slowing till it calms,
a kiss of passion is exchanged with a glance,
two bodies now starting to dance,
the sound of the sea in distance makes music,
waves roaring and crashing against the rocks,
makes for a beat to which we move our feet,
grass so green becomes our bed,
as we lay our bodies down and rest our heads,
looking up into the sky,
watching the clouds still rolling by,
you turn to me and whisper such loving words,
that flow on the breeze like the sweet chirps of the bluebirds,
my hand on your chest, your imagination can guess the rest,
two lovers making love,
on a warm spring day,
half way during the month of May,
a blanket of daisies to cover our lust,
working our bodies, feeding our desires,
totally igniting our inner fires,
as dusk sets in and the sun goes down,
the cool air slowly reaches the ground,
my body tingles as it stirs my flesh,
waking me from my well earned rest,
a smile on my face as I rise to my feet,
heading south back to lonely street,
tomorrow I will return and look to the north,
and maybe you will be there on your rock looking out to sea,
waiting to hear that call from me,
I will call out your name and forever we will be,
as one living past that gate,
together in paradise,
Now wont that be nice!
