so what a parody
of passion
pandering myself in deceit
last night as I was kissing
that girl I had just met
moaning our mouths
into some indecent shape of an 'O'
oh
don't worry
there was plenty of depravity to go around
but it was not her I was thinking of
and the name I whispered
against her lips
escapes me

The close makes this poem

ironic, one supposes, but makes it, nonetheless.

so good to see you submitting again, TF :)

this one aches - in a kind of Johnny Cash way

Sly.....

....slice of a dream - slightly moist if not outright wet - and a little sad.

"moaning our mouths

into some indecent shape of an 'O'

oh

don't worry" - very nice - now, about that elusive name........
