(for my gentle thinker, Lauren)

As all things begin, our moment is chilled
While the sun ends its day, painting us with gold.
You're poised and chic, a ballerina on hold.
My breath catches quick, but my heart is filled.

White blouse unbuttoned over skin so pure -
Perfect page for my tongue as I point its quill
Writing my love on your breasts, each motion to thrill.
Our hands touch with care, their caresses endure.

Your breath accelerates a sigh of content
While panties slide down warm ankles and toes.
My hands trace curves which lie in repose
As I lick the soft lips whose smile's a portent.

On my knees by your side at the end of the couch,
I kiss coltish legs, saving my best in truth.
Knees part and you laugh, showing pearly white tooth
As breasts brush your thighs from my tiger's crouch.

My fingers move nimbly as you quell my fear
With a hug so warm, it anoints Mary's crown.
I genuflect my want between pink soft as down
And you sing the song that I've longed to hear.
