I pushed you past red
you responded
you cried
I held you in My arms
you shivered
you sighed

I watched you as you slept
you imagined
you dreamed
I leaned over and kissed you
you responded
it seemed

I instructed you greatly
you learned
you grew
I carved you and tuned you
you listened
you knew

but I pushed you past red
you responded
you cried
and I held you closer
did it feel
like you died?

when I pushed forward that line
did you know
I'd be there?
on the other side of it
with My guidance
My care

was I trusted completely?
did you give
all of you?
I believe that you did
you responded
you knew.
