Written on a note, in an email or in a book
whispered, breathed, said out loud,
Words and thoughts so fresh and new
the just plucked herb, pummelled to make it bleed.

Each breath I take you in, I taste all of you
aromatic, dancing over my body,
Tingles like rain drops on my lips
transforming me, make me your slave.

Desperate for more, another word
a new paradise found not always so calm,
Raging waters that spill into still puddles
all flavoured with your passions and loathing's.

Let me drink, feed me, make me obese
make me float, swim, drown,
Greedily gulping each new word down,
tell me of your day, your week, your life.

I will mix the taste, flavoured by others
but always your base so enchanting,
Free its sweet scent, free its magical oil
pull in my mind, my body, my soul.

Tantalise me with the peppermint that is you
