in the back of your '64 cobalt Impala
layers of chiffon are pushed up my thighs
rushed breath that smells like pink bubble gum
a soft whimper of frustration as the car steams inside

your eager hands challenged by yellow pearl buttons
I shift forward and lace scratches against your bare chest
cashmere slips off but layers of white still surround us
my delicate heat consumes your rugged sweetness
