I am the last pioneer.

Here I bask at the evoloping expanses
of Nothingness.

A pilgrim en route,
But this is no spiritual voyage,
And I am not headed for Mecca.

The destination is not a point on any map,
But the resulting total after all
my decisions have been accounted for.

I liked it.

I thought is kind of sad, dark. I imagined you making a decision that was important to you and no one else, a decision that no one else would notice but you.

In that sense, you were, in essence, your own pioneer.

Poems, each one has a different meaning depending on the intreptation of the reader and when he or she is reading it in his or her life.

I liked it.

Very enjoyable read

A window to one's thoughts on their journey.

this poem leaves you thinking at the end...is this a spiritual journey, or some other type? I like the imagery you have brought to us here.
