Wedged against the wall
On the edge of a kiss
Of abandoning yourself to his hands
And the stroking, teasing lust
In the moment before
Before the tongue
And the aftershave and the beard
After the second you could have stopped
And saved yourself
From the crotch pressed against yours
And that pop that tells you it's over
And of the blood
And his allegations of love
Both to disappear over one long month.
