She smelt of lavender
And the other tender blooms of spring
When my fingers plumbed her purple depths
Urging her pleasured singing
And bringing perfumed sweat
So sweet to her skin
On my tongue
Touching her navel
To quell her shivering joy
And join her in ecstasy.

Excellent verse

Though twelve one does have a point with "purple depths" and the final two lines.

To hell with it though - I LIKED it! EX..CEL..LENT!

Smiles

this looks like poetry, smells like poetry, but it also smells like a cliche fest.
