Poem for a boy who doesn't need onebyKat0511©
She paints her rage across the stage,
but keeps her heart in a cold, steel cage.
He lives at bay from light and day,
and keeps his warmth hidden away.
She wonders how he is so straight,
biding his time to watch and wait.
Steering his heart like a wheel,
and refusing to feel.
He wonders how she is so bold,
oscillating from hot to cold.
Laughing, but with a temper wild,
sometimes crying like a child.
When separate they won't reveal,
what together they make real.
Where she destroys, he can heal,
where he denies, she can feel.
