fuck it
come on
please
all
i want
is sunrise
to tea
temples clean
from hours' mud
and blood
set free
no tick
tock
tick
sick chronos kick
to the tempo of tension
ascension from schedules
screaming
scholarly schemes
dreaming detention
of ancient ideals
reaped of redemption
and no tick
tock
tick
swallow this sick
sense of sand
flooding lungs
slipping through
my hand
but fuck it
all
i want
is sun and sea
above and under
my balcony
and an hour
a day
just
for
me

I love the short lines

they give this such a restless feel; anxious and tense. Well done, Liar

those line breaks

don't work with a lot of poems, yet a lot of poets try it. You succeed. Of course, you're a wonderful poet, so maybe that's why.

Tick..Tock~

I saw this one on the boards too.. Loved it.. Can see you just needing the time...space...yearning....go away... tick...tock..

As always your work is exceptional.. "tempo of tension" just that line says it all..Keep them coming~~~

All I want?

Is to be able to write like you...<grin>

You not only gave me a verbal arsenal that I did play

with but with this poem for some reason I learned to

slow down my reading to understand, I suffer from speed read syndrome...thanks for your comments and help Liar~

and of course the wonderful reads...
