He dropped his pencil
and I picked it up
and then he dropped it again
I looked up
as he looked down
my shirt

That was my first hint of reality

Kissing me on the mouth
a tongue probing to penetrate
I hit and kicked then
he released me

That was my second taste of reality

Drinking a bit too much
I lay down on a friend’s bed
waking up with my pants half-down
a man next to me

Begging me to swallow reality

Burning and aching
pleading for him to stop
then lying listless
beneath his fuck

He forced me to swallow reality

Read it and ran away

Read it and ran away, came back and read it again. Strong, nice, not many poems make me bolt. I came back to tell you it did.
