“Kiss me,” she whispered.

How could I refuse?

Stepping forward
I drew her close
inhaling her perfume
losing myself in her eyes.

Her rosy lips arose
parting slightly
pressing gently
and I sensed it...

She yielded.

Her kiss screamed silently
“I am yours!”

I could take this chance
this prime moment.

I struggled inside
weighing the options
unable to choose.

So I kissed her
longer, harder
buying time
while enjoying the moment
enjoying her feel against me.

Yet in the end
I stepped away
my hands on her shoulder
gazing into her eyes.

I knew I had made the right choice.
