**********

Promises are made
Like soft whispers across the skin
Rich velvety smoothness of your skin
Beneath my hands as I clutch you to me
I yearn to sip from your lips
Consume you
Devour you whole
So that you are part of me forever
You arch against me
Our cries fuse together
Carried off in the crisp Autumn air
A desperate yearning fights to be sated
Two souls lost and wanting
An icy breeze whips around us
Straining to calm the smoldering passion
It gets to you
The wedge is driven deep
You step away
Promises are broken
