Moonlight..softly kissing, caressing my face
Stars...dancing upon hair and shoulders

Within, awash with clarity,
while my other me is tethered to the same
        moon...far away.

So strong is the pull of the silent beams
that wrap arms around me, secure and
        strong....

Enveloping, ....as I sit on the warm, dew infused grasses.
Quietly whispering...in the calm of the fluttering leaves...

Nearby...the ocean calling...
waves lapping, thrust upon my shores
Eyes brimmed with tears....
are the emerald of the ocean in moonlight

I know,
   here I belong,
     ...as one with the other,
Resting my head for just one moment more.
