There was blush light staining the edges of your cheeks
A cast of neon reflection were it any face on a busy street
This only the result of whispered vocalizations of longstanding intent
In this crowded place
This unlikely place
People traveling to family dinner
The singles bar, night classes, dreamland....
Their eyes unfocused, thinking inward
Perhaps thoughts like mine
Like yours
Selfish and selfless
Pulse racing in the remaining moments of tensile distance
Knowing the second you cross that threshold
You are mine
And all I've planned for you
Mapped in grand detail as we trundle along
In our seemingly innocent lover's intimacy
The denziens of our controlled environment sending occasional smiles, forgiving glances in our obviously euphoric direction
If only they knew...
Slow motion pan, your eyes downcast stare at my hand splayed on your thigh in its possessive manner
And your neon glow grows
Flush around your ears, down your neck
Welcoming beacon to my
Toungue tripping lightly in your ear of the temptations of transport yet to come
Those that will carry you away
