Banned for twenty-four hours,
That's what he commanded of me.
To make me stop and think,
And to tend to my own needs.
I made him irritated,
I gave him a reason to worry.
And all of this,
Was my own undoing.
I know that I'm supposed to take care of my health.
I was careless… and reckless.
And didn't care what I was doing.
There's no excuses, no alibis.
I admit that I'm at fault.
I will take my punishment,
And still hold my head high.
But I won't forget the lesson,
Or the look in his eyes.
My actions affect others,
It doesn't matter why.
If people didn't care,
They wouldn't jump my ass.
It's my responsibility,
To make sure I don't slip.
I'll eat every day,
And drink lots of water.
I'll get plenty of rest,
And the next day I'll start over.
Never again will I give reason to worry,
The punishment's been made clear.
And I hate it with a fury.
