tremors ripple across
my landscape of skin
not movie pretty, this
the quaking and scratches
we hold tight to the ride
stopping amidst smiling
smoke curls and embers
a spill of liquid simmer
waiting to combust again

Excellent and very erotic...

I love the phrasing here, with some moving (perhaps quaking) imagery. And the ripples on the landscape of your skin was fantastic. Well done...

quake

An interesting short read, but the landscape = skin metaphor has been completely bulldozed and exfoliated.
