You know who you are
You know what power
You hold
Over us mere mortals
Striving
And toiling in the fields
Feeling the sun
On our bare backs
Pushing ourselves
Further than ever
Beyond the heat
That pulls us back
Into this physical world
Instead of allowing us to stay in that plane
Your plane
Where we are consumed by our desires
Our ceaseless memories
Of those nights of carnal pleasure
Where we dance without inhibitions
Every inch of our skin
Exposed
To the warmth of the fire in the centre
And the warmth from each other
Those feasts in your honour
Where we taste the grapes
Of the harvest
Appetite insatiable
Juices running down our chins
As our hunger increases
With every bite
Unable to stop
This need to devour
Everything in front of us
But knowing
That even when our senses are indulged
It will not be enough
To satisfy our deeper hunger
Without your presence
To wrap around us
Like a cocoon
Holding us in
And taking us further
Inside
This realm that is yours to control
So we wait until the hour comes
You appear in all your splendor
Radiant
Clothed only in the power you hold
Over each of us
Clothed only in sweat
You walk into the centre
The Queen of the Dance
And all are silent
Waiting to see which of us will be the one
You choose
To take back to your realm
Many are wise enough to look down
But I am young and foolishly bold
Enough to look at you
And become spellbound
As they would
If that hadn't looked away
As I am unable to do now
Eyes locked upon
A full voluptuous body
More desirable
Than anything
I have seen
On this world
Painfully aware of every reaction
My body now makes
As you beckon me towards you
Pale hips undulating like the dark Nile
Flowing towards its inevitable destination
As you return to your realm
And I follow wordlessly
Those around me realise I may never return
For I am now yours
Existing for your eternal pleasure
Worshiping you with my body
As I have done so many times with words
Transcending myself
Each time I approach you
In order to live up to the honour
Of being chosen
To hold you
Forever
