Where is the message they said they would send?
Where is the light at the end of the dark?
Where is the flash, the hopeful spark?
Where are the voices, to guide me through tonight?
Where is the promised and joyful light?
What is the meaning of the life I lead?
What is the purpose of the words I read?
What is left for me when the night comes down?
When I loose sight of the golden crown?
The end is wherever you want it to be
The message is here, the message is me
The light is there, when you want to see it
The flash will come to guide you out of this pit.
The voices are within you, loud and clear
The light is getting closer, so, so near
The life you lead is up to you, only you can walk your way
The words are a guide, to back up what I say.
When the night comes down, you still have me
