Took typing in High School
What a machine
IBM Selectric

Finger press to paper
The spinning ball
All those inky impressions

No substitute for inky
Marks of pen of Bic
6 sided transparent plastic stalks with caps
better suited for shooting wads

~

Lines in sand drawing hearts

All washed away by waving
Toes drawing lines or
Stick dragged impressions, making arrows
Same as face to eye
Lip movements while sitting
On the drifted wood
