Rage
by SpiceCake
October 16, 2003

Listening to those wounded words

Emitted by men of shallow depth

Enclosing my heart in silent steel

Hatred building its familiar wall

Coloring my vision blood red

Attempting to cleanse the taint

Echoing screams of deepest violation

Feeding my rage at love’s deception
