Rain

I sat watching the rain
Watching the thunderstorm deluge the world with water
Everything drenched, everything changing

The sky was dark and the rain so loud it seemed to roar
Everything around me roared
Every noise loud and chaotic

There I sat watching the chaos
There I sat comfortable
There I sat thinking of you

Like watching the rain in all its confusion and chaotic play, yet following each drop to its destination

Everything falling just where it should
Everything was ordered as it should be
Everything making sense

I never really noticed how wonderful, beautiful and simple life is
I never really cared about anything before
I didn't want to care about anything

Thinking of you
Sitting quietly
Watching the world fall into place

Rain

Rainy mood.

This poem will have a special meaning to anyone who has ever watched the thunder roll and listen to the rain pelting the roof. Such beautiful imagery. Something so charming about a cloudy rainy day. Peaceful and tranquil.

And out of the chaos of rain comes certainty.
