RAINY SUMMER START
Cloudy and rainy 2nd-3rd of June,
I have no appetite for my guitar,
no hope to get abstracted by the moon,
its gentle power healing some old scar.
I've got a gig tonight by request,
I'll manage with some Kinks and Beatles and Stones,
a smiling face will have every guest,
a chill will be pervading in my bones.
It ain't like any summer this gray sky,
it ain't like love and blood and hope and doubt,
having considered all, I don't know why
it ain't like Lemonia or Edeltraud.
It is a dirty rainy summer start,
Saharan sand making the flora brown,
I'll smoke a juicy joint if I'm smart,
and I will wear my smile as frown.

I don't know why < enjambed here, why not twice
as a sort of chorus
