Through a series of information
Mostly comprised of trivial
I hear talk of depression which wanders to me
Causing me to wonder about it
The voices take shape
50% about stupidity of myspace
But most of that quota
Have their face on those sites, just goes to show ya
People complain to be heard, they don't change a damn thing
They like cats and birds, they sing just to sing
You aligning with them increases the noise
Please can we stop spreading stupidity to the girls and boys
If you haven't tried something, you can't rate it
Thats why you're full of it when you say you hate it
Myspace, Runescape, even World of Warcraft
Have the masses in the palm of their hands
Even the ones who talk spite right out their ass
Because to despise something so,
You have to have it on your mind
It haunts you, time after time speaking of time
Myspace is a fad
Like bell bottoms to our moms and dads
They go and comeback, just like that
I find it hilarious, the website swingster
Won't do myspace so they go to friendster
Myspace's gone corporate, too many went to it
Well Friendster's close behind,
You're one of the million's doing it
The concept of online friends magnitude
In reality is real life self servitude
You, yourself, and you
Reality hurts but it's true
What you can't do at live, you get on a keyboard
And before ya know it,
Jim's created Crazy Train guitar chords
He's just a smuck, a Joe Schmo, nowhere to go
I feel bad for him bag a paper bag for him
Now he's off to work, the daily grind
Soon as he gets home his image is brad pitt
Cyber girls say he's fine
Never had a kiss, but somehow dates Ms. Jolie
Dork becomes stud like that, pretty easy you see
That 21 something hottie
Who asks what you're wearin
Turns out to be the 200 lbs of womanly something,
That scares ya and
A quest to see the true face behind the perfect myspace
Tom turns out to be a Tomisha,
XxAsianSlutxX, turns out to be your male teacher
Now you gotta get out
before you tear your eyes out
The things you've seen
Make your retinas unclean
Nightmarish cyber sexuality
That's internet reality
I bet it's not just you
I know I'll eventually live it too

This piece

is very real. Unclouded by useless mechanisms. The lines

"If you haven't tried something, you can't rate it,

That’s why you're full of it when you say you hate it" struck me like a brick, or a sock full of rocks. Rock, ya dig? Only crit: this poem (in my opinion, of course) could have benefited from a few choice periods.

~~

Those last six lines make reading the whole thing worthwhile. It's the strongest part and summarize all you've written; you might want to try tweaking it a bit and try to cut it down.
