the bitter rule of redheads
speak when spoken to
offer up nothing only then
take what you can
when some fool heart greats
Your morning rise window

I said hello
she said hello
I said she was beautiful
she said you can talk to me hear

Sick of all the others
her firehair fever grew
To a three day stupor
in which it was permissible
for someone such as me
to meet someone such as her

I said so here's my number
she said so are you the you you say you are?
so do you do as I say and not as I do
We shall see how well you take your orders

To which to wit I told her right out
fair and square and all upfront
I am nowhere near the orders
best buckle up for a wild wide ride

As a rule as redheads rule
never go back never go back
as down in out is as good as gone
our empty glasses of yin, or empty bowls of yang
so too are we two similar creatures
left alone and lonely in left over lines

I knew we wouldn't work anyway
my with my wiley wildcat ways
You could leave some milk or cookies out
and still not see me for days

Red vs. Blue?

I really liked this. I think it needs a little cleaning up but it was a really engaging read. I especially liked the closing confessions. (And yes, I'm a redhead. Sorry, blue. Guess you'll need to avoid me now. haha)
