(about a pic I came across one night)

She sees herself reflected in the window
As she watches, superimposed over the
Outside world like the Goddess of creation
Her eyes catching every detail; the Aurora
Reflecting back at itself in the lake
Highlighting the mountains, the play of
Light as perspective and perception
Dissolve into patterns her hand copies
On the canvas and how something
As insignificant as the stray hairs
Framing her face create a beauty
Worthy of a painting
