Last night he trembled
under the touch of my tongue.
Today he won't return my smile.

Last night he shivered
with my fingers up his arse.
Today he won't look me in the eye.

Last night he screamed
when he came on my face.
Today we're strangers to each other.

Well done...

The morning after blues...

The momentary heat;

then the cold of the quickie;

whether the one-night stand

or the final time in a desolate marriage...
