As time goes by I wonder why
How could I wait so long to open my eyes
And see the one that’s truly meant for me
To find out that we were truly meant to be
How I’ve struggled those many days
Not realising the gift that’s coming my way
Alone I thought I could stand strong
Not knowing that I was being wrong
I used to think enough is enough
I used to feel I’ll never find love
But wrong I have been proven by fate
For it seems I finally found my soul-mate
