Time passes by and people pass on
Funny what you remember
Even after they're gone

You may remember days
of sunlight and romance
or you may recall days
when you didn't stand a chance

You may recall love
You may recall rain
You may recall your laughter
As it peeked through all your pain

You might remember letters
Phone calls or arguments
You may recall sweet pictures
Or words and sentiments

But no matter what you remember
Or what you choose to recall
Remember those that loved you
They're most important of all
